Dinah (a.k.a. Dixie) is better known locally as a talented dressmaker.  Following a two year foundation art course in the 1970s she specialised in fashion for her degree. She worked as a designer for a few years before starting the dressmaking business. 

A few years ago Dinah rediscovered her love of painting and has produced a variety of works.  These include bold abstracts to complement interior design schemes, idyllic seascapes, mountain and water scenes for peace and tranquillity and more recently a series of fashion plates inspired by iconic styles from the 20^th century.
