Mainly inspired by nature and human faces I enjoy the serendipity of print making. Depending on how you ink up the ‘plate’ completely different results can be achieved – but you never really know what you will get until the paper is peeled away. For me, the excitement of that moment never goes away.
I have always loved prints but knew nothing about the processes. In 2005 I stayed at a B&B run by a printmaker, Liz Cave, who had a studio and gallery in her beautiful garden. She encouraged me to attend one of her workshops and I was hooked.
I spent a year studying with Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College; completed a two year Higher Professional Diploma in Printmaking with distinction at West Herts College in 2008, and was accepted as a member of MK Printmakers based at artworks-MK in Great Linford.
