Art Exhibition in Mouvaux, France 26th April to 4th May 2008

Four members of Bafa were approached by the Buckingham mayoress and Chair of the Buckingham Twinning Association, Jane Mordue, to submit up to 10 works of art that could be easily transported to Mouvaux in France.  So on the 6th April pictures by Carol Bagni, Peter Baker, Debs Last and Lindsey Graham duly bubble wrapped took pride of place in a seat on a coach on their way to France.

An article was featured in The Buckingham and Winslow Advertiser where it stated "Their collection will be hung next to work by local painters from Mouvaux as well as artists from its other twin towns, Halle in Belgium and Neukirchen-Vluyn in Germany".

Jane Mordue said "We have helped Buckingham artists display work in Mouvaux for the last 3 years but we are really glad to give BAFA a chance to have their work seen internationally".  She went on to say that the exhibition opened the way for further co-operation between artists in the twinned towns and is hoping to organise a similar exhibition in Buckingham.
